Have you SCREENED your SUNSCREEN?
Concerned about whether or not your sunscreen is doing you more harm than good?
Are you looking for healthier alternatives?
Create your own sunscreen at at Women's Healthy Environments Network's Do-It-Yourself Sunscreen event. This workshop will be facilitated by Tracey TieF, a Certified Natural Health Practitioner of Anarres Natural Health. She is back by popular demand!
We will be making a Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter Lotion, SPF 15, and a Safe Sun Protection Cream with zinc SPF 30. We'll not only learn how to make these products from scratch, but also learn how to protect ourselves and our loved ones from harmful sun rays, while
still making and storing essential vitamin D.
Bring your own bottles or jars and you will leave with 170ml of shea lotion, a 120ml of sun protection cream & a 170ml of cocoa butter lotion - altogether a $38 value!!!
Cost: Minimum donation of $40 (please donate generously as all donations go directly to support WHEN's educational initiatives)
Register early, participation will be capped at 15 people.
