Ruth Grier is a former Ontario MPP who was Minister of the Environment and later Minister of Health under the NDP government. She was always and continues to be a tireless environmental activist and is currently Chair of the Cancer Prevention sub-committee of the Toronto Environmental Alliance (TEA).
As WHEN’s Matron of honour, Ruth shared here interest for our organization:
WHEN has always been in the forefront of efforts to prevent cancer by reducing our everyday exposure to known carcinogens in our water, air and the products we use. Their advocacy and outreach are badly needed and deserve broad support.
